Christmas started
with the traditional Tree Lighting, |

Tom, Stephanie, Mallory and Christopher came early to help get ready. |
Paul was just starting to walk during this time. |
|
|
The day of the ceremony, folks started trickling in from all over. I believe that's Father Philip at the head of the table. |
|
Here the Tree Lighting has begun. Traditionally this happens on Christmas Eve, but logistically it makes sense now to do it earlier. |
|
|
Dad of course is the Master of Ceremonies. |
|
And afterwards, lots of nice things to eat! |
|
|
This house has hosted many wonderful gatherings. |
So, the result is this lovely sight. |
|
|
It even looks nice in the daylight. Our Sparta tree farm is out of business, but they let us hunt around for a final tree from them and this one was the result. |
