First Christmas Family Portrait with Paul!

Christmas started with the traditional Tree Lighting,
held on 12/15 so that lot's of folks could attend.

Tom, Stephanie, Mallory and Christopher came early to help get ready.

Paul was just starting to walk during this time.

The day of the ceremony, folks started trickling in from all over. I believe that's Father Philip at the head of the table.

Here the Tree Lighting has begun. Traditionally this happens on Christmas Eve, but logistically it makes sense now to do it earlier.

Dad of course is the Master of Ceremonies.

And afterwards, lots of nice things to eat!

This house has hosted many wonderful gatherings.

So, the result is this lovely sight.

It even looks nice in the daylight. Our Sparta tree farm is out of business, but they let us hunt around for a final tree from them and this one was the result.

Paul seems ready to tackle
just about anything now!

So, now that we've got the tree up, let's go visiting in the next section!
