 This is Genevieve, Paul's pal.
She's about 1 week older or younger (I can't remember which) than Paul.

Here's Paul with James, Katie and coming
through the door is Rose, Paul's teacher.

 On the way out, Paul loves to check
out the fish tank in the hallway.

My sister, Laura arrived late that night.
Here we are playing with Paul the next morning.

At this time he is just starting to do his now-famous "crab crawl" using his left knee and his right foot.

 Laura was kind enough to let us get into Manhattan for an overnight stay at the Belvedere Hotel in the theatre district.

This is the view out our room's side window.
This is an older hotel, which is great if you want a decent, cheaper place within easy walking of the theatres. No room service and limited amenities make it a no-repeat for us.

 We saw Chicago, which I thought was OK, but Maria loved it. Here's my sweetheart early the next morning. I just love this shot.

Back home: we have a pumpkin
farm in Denville (?) that we went to
for Paul's first pumpkin picking.

 He thought those big orange
things were pretty cool.

Around this time he starting
really using that index finger.

The world is really opening up for him now.

 I just love this one.

It was really cold out. After this shot, we
ran back to the Jeep and went home.

He got the hang of it pretty quickly.

 Here's Paul in his "megasaucer". Naomi Fish gave us this wonderful toy. Paul has had many happy times playing in this thing. Not long after this photo he would no longer tolerate being restrained in it, but he still plays with it from the outside.

Laura headed home bidding us a fond farewell. We look forward to her next trip!
