With his new-found freedom, Paul can now
get into all kinds of trouble!


March, April and May saw lots of changes for us.

Paul loves to play with the TV remotes and the lamp, hence the ottoman as a blocking device.

How could you not love this kid?

April finds us in our new rental home in Denville, NJ. It is small, but we really like it.

Around this time, Tom and Madelyn Vanko got their little gift from Guatemala: Michael Joseph! 

Here's Madelyn in Michael's fabulous room. 

It seems Paul never makes the same face twice.

Getting dressed is still a challenge.

This series is at Michael Van Lent's photo studio. Michael and Roseanne are Genevieve's parents. Gen is at Bright Horizons with Paul. They had us over for a shoot for one of Roseanne's projects. We took the opportunity to take some family shots as well. 

Here Maria is trying in vain to contain the wild child.

This is Michael, Roseanne and Genevieve. 

It's amazing what good lighting can do.

That and Cheerios ;-)

After the shoot we went upstairs for bagels. That's Katie behind Paul.

Genevieve has lots of cool toys.

I love these chairs. I want to try
and make one for Paul.

First picture in our new house, circa April 1st. 

Here is the Vanko family at Michael's  baptism.

Notice that Michael is the only
one looking at the camera...

...and now the only one not looking.

It was quite nice.
These shots were from after.

So, here's part of our back yard as seen from the back door.

Zooming in, you can see his swing in the tree.
It works OK, but we will have to find
a more permanent solution.

Looking the other way, we have some benches, a birdbath and a storage shed. 

Paul watches Tellietubbies in the morning before going to daycare. I have to admit I really like the show. It's very pleasant and soothing.
