AltaVista still the best search engine on the Internet. Syntax is powerful yet simple.

CNN still my favorite online news source.

JDWilbur.org Jess Wilbur's very cool home page. He does the best flat site web design
   of anyone I know.
CNet Somewhat commercialized now, but still an excellent tech resource.
Weather Underground My favorite weather site. Lot's of great info and you can
   get a "sticker" for your own page with current conditions where you are.
